A Glowing Tale of Courage & Kindness*
On a craggy island shaped like a whale's tail, the tiniest lighthouse in the world stood all alone. Her name was Lumi, and though her job was to sing *"Safe! Safe! This way home!"* with her golden beam, her light came out in sad, sputtering hiccups.
The big lighthouse down the coast boomed, "You're useless, Firefly!"
Even the seagulls laughed when her light flickered.
One night, Lumi made a wish so hard her glass walls trembled:
"I want to shine PROPERLY!"
**PING!** A falling star bounced off her roof and rolled inside—a real, sizzling piece of starlight!
The Storm That Stole the Stars
The very next evening, a hurricane howled in:
- Waves turned into watery dragons
- Wind stole rooftops like cookie crumbs
- The big lighthouse's light **went out!**
Out in the chaos, Lumi spotted two fishing boats—*Timo's family* AND *the grumpy lighthouse keeper who never fixed her creaky gears!*
Her starlight piece whispered: *"You'll burn out if you use me..."*
Lumi didn't hesitate. **"THEN I'LL BURN BRIGHT!"**
She swallowed the star—
KA-BOOM! Lumi erupted in a beam so dazzling:
- It painted the storm clouds gold
- Guided both boats to safety
- Even the big lighthouse gasped
But when dawn came, Lumi was dark again... until she heard *splashing*. Every villager was rowing to her island!
They brought:
- The baker's oven to warm her gears
- Schoolchildren's mirrors to reflect new light
- And Timo, holding a jar of captured moonlight *"For next time!"*
Now, Lumi's beam dances every night—sometimes strong, sometimes wobbly, but always singing:
*"Brave! Kind! This way home!"*
